I need to practice my interiors, so these are some experiments at making quick concept sketches with some colour info to indicate mood. They lack detail at this level but could be taken further, my aim was to make the light interesting and the scene feel dramatic but to keep it just at the concept sketch level. Each took approximately 45 minutes to an hour.

How is it that you manage to do these so fast, what is your process?
What colors/brushes do you use first and how do you approach layering?
I'm really keen on doing similar works, I have the tools but don't understand how to start and finish.
